SIT Becomes the Only NBA Accreditated Engineering College of North East India [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 13^th June, 2017: Today in an official press conference called by the authorities of Siliguri Institute of Technology at Siliguri Journalist Club, the Director of SIT Prof. (Dr.) Jyotirmoy Jhampati, along with the HODs of Electronic & Communication Department and Electrical Engineering Department Prof. Goutam Das and Prof. Jayanta Basu informed the press that SIT has received the accreditation from the coveted National Board of Accreditation (NBA) based on a standard quality education in technical fields. The departments for which the accreditation is received are Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. With this accreditation, SIT becomes the only private engineering college in North East India to have this prestigious accreditation based on quality education, state of the art technical laboratories, training and placement in different world class organizations according to the SIT authorities.
